CHIC AND TIMELESS: EMILY HALLMAN

Here’s my deal on clothes: as much as I love fads and having pieces of the moment, it’s not helpful to the pocket book. I’d rather drop a certain amount on clothes I can wear for so many years and seasons than something that I’ll wear for a few months and eventually give away or donate to Goodwill.

Saying all of that, I’m build my wardrobe to fit many occasions for endless seasons. I want something I buy this season to be wearable the next season and the season after that (and the season after that).

This is what I love about Emily Hallman’s collection. Her cuts and prints are sophisticated, sharp, yet fun at the same time. Granted I posted only four looks but her collection for fall is amazing. Each piece is custom designed, hand sewn and tailored by her.

The most amazing part? A very wide size selection so there’s no wishing, hoping and not having.
