VEGAN WEEK 3: SNACKIN
Holy. I’ve been meat/dairy/animal product free for three
weeks with just one week to go and I don’t feel like hulk smashing anything.
Success.
Frozen grapes are number one. They taste sweeter than refrigerated grapes also good for my munchies when watching TV. Angie’s Popcorn. It’s addictive but it’s oh so good. Oh. So. Good. My two favorites are 'Uncommonly Salted Caramel' and 'Boom Chicka Pow Sea Salt'. And how great is the packaging?
Almonds. Simple, lightly salted or unsalted almonds are another favorite. If you want you can make your own honey roasted almonds, which are better than the store brand, adjust some of the ingredients as necessary and have an addictive snack. And yes, I know there’s the great, “Do vegans eat honey?” debate but I came up with my own conclusion about bees and the honey process and I’m sticking with it.
Next week is my last week! Well, maybe. I’ve thought about extending it to 45 days just to see if I can really do it, but not going to lie, I woke up craving breakfast sausage and cheese. I don’t even like breakfast sausage like that.
Until next time, C
