THE EASIEST BLACK BEAN HUMMUS, EVER

As most people know, I am a huge fan of hummus. I mean, if I could marry it I would.



No I wouldn't, but it is not unheard of me eating a pound of hummus in a week--a week!

If you've ever wanted to make your own hummus but felt like it was too hard, think again. Grab your food processor or powerful blender or weak blender and a 5 speed mixer and get ready.



1 can black beans
1 can La Costena in Adobe Sauce Chipotle Peppers
1 table spoon of Cumin
Lime Juice
  • Drain and rinse your beans really well and add them in the blender/processor. 
  • Add at least 2 tablespoons of chipotle peppers (adjust for taste), cumin and lime juice
  • Blend for 30 seconds. Use a spoon get hummus from the side and blend again for another 30 seconds. Make sure the consistency is smooth and if not, blend a bit more until you get it to what you want.
  • Enjoy!
