THINGS TO DO

@FIVE12STUDIO
Even in the craziest of times I have to find simple pleasures in this crazy time period in my life. And maybe your life is a bit chaotic and you're trying to grasp on to something positive, so without further ado:

Add Sriracha sauce on pizza. You’re welcome.

Don’t wake up with an alarm (if you can).
I noticed I had major headaches every time I woke up. Panic about facing the day or getting sick—who knows? I read to try waking up naturally as a way to decrease the headaches. Worried I was going to just sleep throughout the day, I was surprised I woke up around the time I usually did and didn’t over sleep. Somedays I woke up earlier. Better yet, my headaches weren’t there! Success and stuff.

Subscribe to podcasts that make you laugh. I’m obsessed with The Read and it’s the highlight of my Thursdays, tbh. Kid Fury and Crissle bring the laughs and the truth with pop culture and listener letters and a good “read” at the end. Plus, they don't hide their love for Beyonce. Listen to it in traffic, while working out, or working (with headphones in ;)).

Catch a reality television show marathon on Bravo/VH1/MTV/USA/WE/TLC even if you’re not really a fan. “But reality TV isn’t Reality.” Duh, which is why it’s so entertaining. And it’s mindless. You might lose a brain cells, but reading a book afterward (or a religious book like “The Bible”) will counter that.
Suggestions: Vanderpump Rules, Love and Hip Hop and Real World Skeletons.

Get a disposable camera and take photos of whatever.
“Get a what and do what with what?” These ancient artifacts that came out long before the camera phone are still on sale and some places still develop film and get them on a CD. It doesn’t matter where or what you take a photo of, just do it!

Get your Instagram photos printed. As I’m in the middle of transitioning my life, this is on my must do things once I get settled. I haven’t decided if they’re going to be coasters or just some kind of photo collage but I really can’t wait to print the 500 photos of sunsets I have on my feed. I really am digging these record frame photo and canvas wall art ideas from A Beautiful Mess.

Clean out an area of your life. Social media, closet, desk, office, contacts, etc. No need in holding on to things that are relevant or advancing yourself in life (easier said than done, I know).

Add hot cocoa powder to vanilla ice cream and coffee. Again, you're welcome.

Rinse out conditioner with cold water instead of hot. Locks in the moisture.

And that soda in the photo? It's delicious.

Until next time,
C
