Things to Do, Too

I made a list as such about a year ago and decided to do an update, because why not?

- Go outside. Whether you're walking, running, or skipping (please skip), Go outside for 20 minutes, blast some tunes, and just enjoy. Your brain will thank you.

- Get into Bob's Burgers. Forever LOL.

- Buy Brussel sprouts on the regular. Start with your average seasoning of salt and pepper, slightly blacken them to seal in the flavor and enjoy. So yum.

- Log off. If you're like me, you're on the computer, phone, or iPad so much. You never really log off (I'm gonna shut down my computer to pick up my phone, am I right?), so actually log off and stay logged off.

- Organize your life. Do you need that many apps that do the same thing on your phone? Nope, you don't.

- Write about something, anything. It doesn't matter. If you're a blogger like myself, you have a purpose and plan in your writing. But that can get exhausting and you need an outlet. Pen, paper, write.

- Map out your goals for anything. Got something you want to accomplish in a month? Six months? A year? Write them out then break down how you'll get there. Ex. I want to lose 20 pounds by December. That means I'll try to lose 10 by July by eating healthier, drinking more water, and working out 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week.

- Wash your face with oil. My natural guru in my head, "Hey Fran Hey" turned me on to this and now almond oil is my go to for washing my face. She's the real MVP, ya'll.

- Go to sleep. Literally and figuratively. You know how people are "woke" on all the social issues? That can be draining and then you start overanalyzing everything to the point that you're annoying yourself. Go to sleep. A lot of times it's not that deep, boo-boo.

- Selfie it out. I don't know how some of you people do it, but ya'll have the best selfies ever to selfie and I am jealous. I hear practice makes perfect, so do you. Selfie it out. After some classes and practice, I'll be joining you on the circuit.

- Hulu all the greats. The Hills, Daria, I Love Lucy, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2, etc. You can never be bored.

- Find the great things in yourself. This is the hardest thing to do for me because I'm my own worst critic. Story time, I was at work working on something all day. My co-worker loved it, and I was like, "I hate it." I don't think I hated it as much as I had stared at it all day and I was just tired. Honestly, I'm a pretty good designer. I'm a damn good designer. It's why I do what I do and have for so long. It's a "Clarissa" thing, and that's pretty cool.

Until next time,
C
